Getting Started with Your Eomma Pump: A Complete Guide

Welcome to motherhood! Your Eomma Pump is designed to make your breastfeeding journey easier and more efficient. This guide will help you get started and make the most of your new pump.

Eomma Pump Components

What's in the Box

Your Eomma Pump package should include:

  • 1 Eomma Pump motor unit
  • 2 collection bottles (5oz/150ml)
  • 2 breast shields (24mm standard size)
  • 2 valve membranes
  • 2 bottle connectors
  • 1 power adapter
  • 1 USB-C charging cable
  • 2 bottle stands
  • 1 carrying bag

Before First Use

  1. Sanitize all parts that come into contact with milk:
    • Breast shields
    • Bottles and bottle caps
    • Valve membranes
    • Bottle connectors
  2. Charge the pump fully (approximately 2 hours)
  3. Wash your hands thoroughly before handling pump parts

Important: Do not wash or sanitize the motor unit. Wipe it clean with a slightly damp cloth only.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Attach the valve membrane to the bottle connector
  2. Connect the bottle to the bottle connector
  3. Attach the breast shield to the bottle connector
  4. Insert the assembled unit into the motor unit until you hear a click
  5. Power on the pump by pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds

Using Your Pump

The Eomma Pump offers three different modes:

  • Stimulation Mode: Quick, light suction to stimulate letdown
  • Expression Mode: Deeper, slower suction for milk expression
  • Customized Mode: Programmable settings for personalized comfort

Pro Tip: Start with Stimulation Mode for 2 minutes or until milk begins to flow, then switch to Expression Mode. Adjust suction levels gradually to find your comfort zone.

Cleaning and Maintenance

After each use:

  1. Disassemble all parts
  2. Rinse in cool water to remove milk residue
  3. Wash thoroughly in warm, soapy water
  4. Rinse with clean water
  5. Air dry on a clean towel

Daily Tip: Use the included microwave sterilization bag for quick and efficient sanitization. Each bag can be used up to 20 times.

Troubleshooting

If you experience reduced suction:

  • Check that all connections are secure
  • Inspect valve membranes for tears
  • Ensure breast shields are properly sized
  • Verify that bottle is properly screwed on

Your Eomma Pump features:

  • Up to 2 hours of operation on a full charge
  • Quick-charge capability (15 minutes for one pumping session)
